Robert.B Lowe

Lead Consultant — Fit for Purpose Solutions

Leading your assessment process is Robert, who moved into the safety and risk space in 2003 when the Compliance Unit he was part of in the Queensland Government was given the function to investigate all mining related safety events. This closed out his career of 10 years in government as a Lead Investigator and Prosecutor, making his way into the private coal mining sector where he remained until 2013 before changing into manufacturing. At the close of this phase Robert started his own business, which he has run and operated since 2018 focusing on safety, risk, quality and people.

This led to a contractual partnership with Australia's leading manufacturer and supplier of roof and facade access systems and products for 8 years. The last 5 years have been spent on the frontline in Project Design and Sales. His main focus was assisting customers and clients to define roof access specifications. Robert has designed over 3000 roof and facade safety projects, leading to a thorough knowledge of the application of products and systems.

Robert's vast background of 23 years in the health and safety discipline has delivered the capability to read the needs of a project and/or other task request and propose fit for purpose solutions. Through this time he has had a major role for many organisations developing functional systems to efficiently manage workplace health, safety and quality, and more recently he has turned his skills to rapidly deploying systems through assisted application building tools.

During his dedicated safety career Robert quickly saw the synergy of safety and people functions and switched up his skills to commence undertaking people management and recruitment for organisations, and this has become a consistent part of business. Robert does recruitment in a way that uses his broad background and a natural gift to read into candidate profiles and hear in conversation what others generally miss.

F4PS is currently engaged by a number of height safety installer businesses covering the whole east coast of Australia and Tasmania, including regional and metropolitan locations. We are actively looking for partnerships in South Australia, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and New Zealand.

His profile and work history sit on LinkedIn.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.”

Cadet Roof Access Designer & Estimator

Working alongside Robert is Kiptyn, who started his career in January 2026 and has already moved through around ten projects per week. He is quickly grasping the fundamentals of roof access design, from reading building drawings to selecting appropriate access systems and preparing estimates that reflect the real scope of work.

Kiptyn also keeps the heartbeat of client follow-up and new project opportunities running — making sure enquiries do not go cold and that designers, installers and clients stay connected as a job moves forward.

He is building his trade knowledge on the job, mentored directly by Robert, with exposure to real projects across residential, commercial and industrial sites from day one.
